Accurate and deadly leader for all methods of the European nymphing.
The Exocent Nymph Leader have been inspired by Mr Milan Janus, Czech famous competitive fly fisherman who developed his own version of French leader with spiral indicator for light nymphing.
We have replaced Milan's spiral indicator with bicolor twisted indicator, which is easier to cast and does not tangle like the spiral indicator.
The leader consists of 8 metres long mono section made out of heavy Blue Fluor tippet (which is easy to cast, high visible for the flyfisherman and almost invisible for the fish) and 1 ft (30 cm) hi-visible bicolor (yellow/orange) twisted indicator with 3 black drops to increase its visibility.
This leader works perfect with long 2-3wt rod of medium action - like Maxia 10ft 2wt when fishing nymphs up stream or fishing Czech nymph style.
The Exocent leader comes in variety of diameters and 2 options of the indicator - with small perfection loop or titanium microring to attach the tippet.
